The model of therapy I use
I practice person-centred therapy, which informs my way of working with my clients leading their own process. I focus on building a solid relationship of trust between us, where I hold a safe and warm space for each person to express and discover themselves in order to gain valuable insights into themselves. This can lead to powerful transformations over time.

I have a high level of empathy as well as a strong sense for personal integrity, which underpins all my client interactions and make me comfortable to be around.

My experience in counselling
Having worked for the Greenwich Carer’s centre in the past, I have specialist experience working with Carers facing issues around Isolation, Stress, Anxiety’s and Bereavement.

Currently, I am also working for Mum’s aid with mothers with Peri-natal depression (a term used to include Ante-natal and Post-Natal depression)

I was drawn to becoming a Counsellor

After studying Psychology at the University of Vienna, I was always intrigued by the idea of becoming a counsellor, but my first experience of counselling was some years later as a client, after a family bereavement.

I learnt that grieving happens in different stages and is different for every person depending on previous losses they have experienced in life. The support of my counsellor was invaluable in this process, as I needed to be held in a space of pure compassion and hope.

Becoming a counsellor myself was a dream come true, as I had benefited so much from my own therapy and was keen to share this empowering way of relating to others.
